When our clients arrive for their boudoir session most are visibly nervous and freaking out while the others are just really good at hiding it. Being nervous of the unexpected is completely normal and baring it all for your boudoir shoot can be terrifying but we are here to help you see yourself for the powerful woman you are. Once in hair and makeup, the transformation begins and most of the nervousness disappears and that is when we get to meet the real you. One of my favourite parts of the shoot is getting to spend the next hour laughing, talking and getting to know each other, while you are getting pampered and glammed up for your session.
After hair and makeup is done we move into the session and if I am being totally honest the nerves usually return. There is no more counting down days, no more security blanket of time, just raw and real and exposed but so god damn rewarding. We decide on your first outfit and then we start shooting. After the first few photos we share some images from the back of the camera and that is when everything changes. After a few “NO WAY’s!” and “Is that seriously me?!?” your inner goddess leaps closer to the surface, taking over and that’s when the magic happens. You will feel like the most powerful version of yourself, capable of anything and YOU WILL SLAY YOUR SESSION! With our help guiding you through the poses and your newfound confidence, together we will create the most incredible memories and stunning images. Ones that you will have to remind you of the day that you did that!
By the time the shoot is over and we move into the reveal session we’ve all become friends. We’ve shared stories and moments and an experience we will all remember. When we show you your images on the big screen TV and we get to witness you seeing them for the first time, the shock and amazement, this is what we live for. Yes that is you and yes you did it! We will guide through the purchase process and together we will come up with the products best suited to your lifestyle and taste and you will leave knowing that you will have these images to commemorate the time that you kicked ass in your boudoir experience.
